Life Cycle
Adults, larvae, and pupae occur on species of primrose-willow - Ludwigia (Onagraceae).
Larvae feed externally on the leaves and cover themselves with a protective covering of their own excrement.
Pupation occurs on the leaves in a cell formed from a secreted material, excrement, and bits of debris. (Clark 1976)
