Frassing images /w no comment?

I see some images in frass recentlly that were put there with no comment. It's not that I mind but PLEASE at least add a comment that your putting these in frass so we know who moved them. I probably woulnd't have noticed except a few were images of mine that I know I didn't frass recentlly. Again I have no problem with my images being there, but I would like a comment if you move them for me so I can thank you.

Also anyone know why this images was frassed?

It looks just like one I posted a while back

Frassed image
The image in question was posted by Tom Adams. Perhaps he could tell you why it was frassed. If he frassed his own image, I would not expect him to comment on the reason.

Possible Solution
I have an idea for a bug guide programming update

I know we keep the origional upload and last updated dates, for instance:
Contributed by Tom Adams on 30 April, 2004 - 9:58pm
Last updated 15 July, 2006 - 2:20am

Maybe we can expand that list to show some more detail, kind of like an image history for instance an image might show something like:
(made up example)
ID Request by Tom Adams on 30 April, 2004 - 9:58pm
Image move to 1954 by Tom Adams on 12 July, 2005 - 1:20am
Image move to 9410 by John Doe on 15 July, 2006 - 2:00pm

The numbers correspond to the guide pages in which the image was moved to, 9410 I believe is the frass page. Then we'd have a running record of who's moving what around the guide. If you question a move you know exactlly who moved it, and from the last entry, where they moved it from.

I think this would solve a lot of the mysterious image movement around the guide.

Numbers
As far as I can tell, images or pages with higher numbers are more recent than those with lower numbers. The assigned number doesn't change when an image/page gets moved; if it did, moving an image or page would break any existing links to that image or page.

I agree that automatic insertion of the mover's name is a good idea. In the same way that additional contributors' names are added to the bottom of a Guide page, a line saying "Moved by [name of person]" could be added to any image/page that gets moved. I think this would attach some responsibility to the mover, making him/her more apt to give a reason for moving an image/page from [where] to [where] - which is a considerate and helpful gesture, even when moving one's own image to Frass.

Just to clarify myself, I kno
Just to clarify myself, I know the image number doens't change from the time the photo first get's uploaded and assigned a number. The numbers I was refering to in my post were guide page numbers, sorry.

Ie:
ID Request by Tom Adams on 30 April, 2004 - 9:58pm
Image move to 1954 by Tom Adams on 12 July, 2005 - 1:20am
Image move to 9410 by John Doe on 15 July, 2006 - 2:00pm
