Texan Crescent - Anthanassa texana

This is the Southeast form of the Texan Crescent which has more pronounced orange on the inner dorsal side of the forewing along with more heavily defined overall white markings than its Southwest counterpart. Females lay eggs on plants in the acanthus family.
