Mini Wasp? - Venturia canescens

Mini Wasp? - Venturia canescens
Aurora, Kane County, Illinois, USA
May 1, 2012
Size: Less then 1/2 inch

I tossed the can out but not before some got out in the house. It was after that, that I started seeing the little VC's. Now to get rid of all of them. Thank You Bob.

Of course, you can just do what you have been doing, and let them go outside. In any case, they won't harm anything in your house other than any moth pupae that might still be there (probably none), which would be beneficial insofar as mitigating the pest moth.

So these little guys should get rid of the moths and then I can just catch them and put them out. Sounds like a winner to me.

Ichneumon wasp…
Possibly in the genus Anamalon.
