Stenonema femoratum
Hi Tom-

I believe it to be a Stenonema femoratum female subimago. However, a body length of 17 mm would really exceed expectations. Did you actually measure it from front of head to end of abdomen (not including tails)?

After taking the picture of the mayfly, I take a picture of a mm ruler at the same focal length. I remeasured the picture, and from the tip of the abdomen to the face, it comes up just over 16mm.

Lloyd Gonzales comment:
This has the overall look of a “swimmer.” At first glance I thought Siphlonurus, but I am now convinced it is a female Siphloplecton basale subimago. (The female lacks the dark basal staining of the hindwing.)
