Too large for the hibiscus sawfly although color is similar.

It was ID'd as a Hibiscus Sawfly by a helpful member.

I believe we have one and the same species.

Sawfly
A narrower ID is difficult at this level of magnification. We'll have to look for pictures already available for comparison.

Argidae.
I'm quite sure that this is something in the sawfly family Argidae.
