Size: 1.5 inches
I saw this Beetle flyong in my yard so I captured it to ID it. Can't Exactly find a good ID for it. I have found a few that look close but the image resolution was poor, so no positive ID. I have take some good photos of the beetle in hopes it will be easly identified.

Bess Beetle or Patent Leather Beetle
This is in the family Passalidae names Odontotaenius disjunctus.
