Ichneumon?

Ichneumon?
Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
May 20, 2012
Size: 6.3mm

Moved
Same critter as this:

Don't know if the white at the apex of the metasoma might be an egg or not. Also don't know if the lack of the markings on the mesoscutum are just variation or whether there is sexual dimorphism in color.

Moved from Braconids and Ichneumons.

I'll have to send the specime
I'll have to send the specimens out soon. I'm interested to see what this might be.

If it is an egg, it is a tryphonine, but I'll also bet on tryphonine if it isn't an egg.
