What kind of spider is this? - Dolomedes tenebrosus

What kind of spider is this? - Dolomedes tenebrosus
Wisconsin, USA

Can anyone tell me what kind of spider this is? I just found it in this bucket in a storage area in our house. I am going to turn it loose in the woods behind our house shortly.
Thanks, Judy

I think it looks like a Fishing Spider (Dolomedes) but wait for a second opinion. Happy to hear that you're going to release it.

Dolomedes
Yes Dolomedes. I downloaded the image and putzed with it in Photoshop and found the abdomen has a classic Dolomedes pattern. Unfortunately, I'm not good at distinguishing the species.

Thank you! I looked at the pictures of Fishing Spiders and that certainly seems to fit with what I see. Will wait for a second opinion. Haven't released yet in case more pictures were needed, but don't want to wait too long. I didn't like finding this spider in my house, but was glad he was in a bucket so will be easy to release.
