Just some of the common robberflies around my house. The one on the left is female and the right is male (if Im wrong let me know) I assume theyre from the same species, and I was hoping someone could tell me what species exactly. I appreciate the help. From the guide my guess was Efferia aestuans, but verification is appreciated.

The female on the left is a Machimus sp. while the male on the right is an Efferia according to Eric Fisher.
