Size: 9 cm
8 large orange "horns" with black tips on top of anterior, 2 smaller "horns" pointing forward just above large, bulbous eyes or mouth. small black "horns" all over body.

I just found the same thing a
I just found the same thing and wondered if anyone had more info. I teach preschool and wanted to share it with my students. Any advice on how to house it for a few days before we release it?

It's a hickory horned devil, Citheronia regalis. I didn't realize they lived all the way out in Texas. Great find!
