Not sure which of these, Eristalis tenax, or latifrons,this is. Is there nyone that could let me know. Thanks

How about Eristalis arbustorum?
I think the white stripes on the abdomen are telling.

The key feature of E. arbustorum is the white face, which we can't see here. Read Gerard's comment.
