Black and Yellow Mud Dauber - Sceliphron caementarium
Yarmouth, Maine, USA
September 1, 2004
This looks similar to the Grass-carrying Wasp in the Guide but the leg color pattern is different. Comments??

black & yellow mud dauber
This is just an extra-dark black and yellow mud dauber, Sceliphron caementarium. Great example of how variable they can be! Nice shot.
