Colephorid? - Argyresthia calliphanes Richmond Hill, York, Ontario, Canada July 21, 2006 Size: ~ 8mm
Collected at a light at night. Very shiny and tends to adopt a head-standing position at rest. The shape (i.e. slender wings, which appear to be bent upwards when folded) is very similar to that of a Casebearer Moth (Colephoridae). What species might it be?
