Leafhopper - Errhomus

Leafhopper - Errhomus
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada
May 18, 2012
Size: ~7 mm

you may be creating a new page when it is not needed. Shouldn't we just change the name of the old page from Erronus to Errhomus? Or are you planning to change that page into a subgenus page?

no
Errhomus and Erronus are two different genera; Erronus was originally a subgenera of Errhomus, but now its a full genus.

Excellent!
Thanks

behaviour
The nymph seems to have contracted its abdomen, squeezing the intersegmental membrane out to expose glands -- presumably a defensive mechanism. I asked the premier Errhomus collector, who has seen lots of nymphs, and he said he had never seen such.
