This insect has seized a beetle like a robber fly but he looks different from robber flies I have seen e.g., fuzzy abdomen

Cool. Thanks. I didn't know the robber flies could resemble bees. Mallophora does look similar to this one.

 
Laphria
Not Mallophora, but Laphria (you can easily tell the two genera apart by looking at the antennae). With that splash of red on the abdomen, I'd say probably Laphria fernaldi. Lovely insect.
