Water-Strider - Gerris

Water-Strider - Gerris
South Umpqua River, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
July 20, 2006

Moved
Moved from True Bugs.

Size?
This is Gerris remigis if it is quite a large, sprawling specimen. Other Gerris species are quite diminutive in comparison.

Size
I would guess about 1 1/2 to 2 cm. I hope that helps! :)
