Emerging Cicada - Megatibicen grossus
Residential Valdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia, USA

Size: 1.6 inches, head/body
I caught this cicada just finishing its big push from the old exoskeleton (wish I'd come across it just a wee bit sooner!) Tibicen canicularis? Three images will be attached to this id request. Help would be appreciated! Note: Residential area with plenty of trees, pines, oaks and so on. Fairly typical diverse area.
