Moth - Hyalophora cecropia
Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts, USA
June 20, 2012
Size: 6 to 7 inch wingspan
I rescued this beautiful moth from becoming road kill. I didn't have a camera. I placed him in a bush, and he was still there, four hours later. He flew off to a neighboring yard where I was able to snap a few pictures.
