Mosquito - Ochlerotatus atropalpus - male

Mosquito - Ochlerotatus atropalpus - Male
Dixville, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
July 18, 2006

I want to say this is the male
of your Oc. atropalpus, but the picture is a bit overexposed. Did you find them in the same place? If yes, it is most probably an Oc. atropalpus.

I darkened the mosquito
and yes I photographed them about a minute apart at the same location.
