Assassin bug - Zelus luridus

Assassin bug - Zelus luridus
Harms Woods Forest Preserve, Glenview, Cook County, Illinois, USA
June 15, 2006
Size: ~15mm
Found this guy sitting on a leaf in the sun. Based on the images in the guide, we're thinking this belongs in the genus Zelus. Can it be identified to species?

Moved
Moved from Zelus.

Probably Z. luridus.
Turns out Z. luridus is the most common species in the genus in the east, recently split from Z. exsanguis (which is now confined to Texas according to the paper I have). The more minute details one needs to see, though, to exclude other species, are not visible in this image.
