Looks Like Tegenaria agriestis
It's a Tegenaria in any case, though whether it's T. agriestis(aka "Hobo Spider")or T. gigantea, I can't tell.

T. duellica (T. gigantea)
This is a female Greater European House spider (T. duellica), which is not dangerous. It's former taxon name was T. gigantea, so it is the same spider.. :)

The pictures you (chandan) provided were adequate for an accurate ID. Since this is a female spider, if you look at the underside of the spider at it's reproductive organs (epigynum), you can determine if the spider was a T. domestica, T. agrestis, or a T. duellica. (You provided some great magnification of the epigynum...)

If you read the info page about T. agrestis, and especially the linked document at the bottom of the info page (How to Identify (and Misidentify) a Hobo Spider by Rick Vetter), you can become familar with how to identify (or rule out) the T. agrestis as a possible ID.

Hope this helps! :)

How could one find out?
I'm having the same problem. I still have the specimen - is there a particular distinguishing feature I should look for, or try to photograph for you?
