Agonum (Olisares) albicrus Dejean
based on my microscopic examination of this specimen which is now a photo-voucher in the P.W.Messer collection. Thanks Tom for posting this eastern species which happens to be new to BugGuide, new to my reference collection, and new to the state of MA! I'll notify Yves Bousquet for his database.

This image is the first correct BugGuide placement as the previous post of "Agonum albicrus" is really Tetralecus picticornis(Newman). I'm currently correcting this issue.

Note the characteristic pale distal antennomeres and the black femora contrasting with pale tibiae.
