Beetle - Aeolus

Beetle - Aeolus
Glen Rock, York County, Pennsylvania, USA
June 2, 2012
Any ID for this beetle? Thanks.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

Aeolus sp.
need more to go on for a species-level ID. Could be either A. mellillus or A. scutellatus, but would need to see a lateral angle of the scutellum to be sure (although it sure looks domed to me!).
I think I can see two carinae on the pronotal hing angles, so A. amabilis should be ruled-out (even without size).
