Seems interesting. Didn't know exactly where to post it for two reasons: 1) Haven't ID'd the insects and 2)shows two insects on one photo.

Aphids on thistle
I don't have a name for these yet, but I'm going through all the aphid images right now and I found some others that seem to be the same kind (blackish, live on thistle):
