Diaphorus spectabilis - Chrysotus spectabilis - Male
Pulaski County, Kentucky, USA
May 28, 2011
Size: 3.5 mm
Taken in yellow pan trap between 27.V and 29.V.2011

One of about 15 species of Dolichopodidae taken in yellow pan traps during this collecting event.

This species is now a Chrysotus.(1) I don't understand why.

I just saw the name change was used in (1), pg. 676., fig 49.4
