Tiny Beetle - Psyllobora borealis

Tiny Beetle - Psyllobora borealis
Western shore of Whidbey Island to the north of Useless Bay below the high tide line., Island County, Washington, USA
July 24, 2006
Size: 3 mm long
This tiny beetle (shaped like a ladybug/ladybird) landed on my right outer hand. As I could not press the shutter release and aim the camera with my left hand, I gently shook the creature off into my left palm and got two shots before it flew away. I have seen a few other similar looking specimens in the last month.

Moved
Moved from Twenty-Spotted Lady Beetle.

Checked against Gordon's key and the other Psyllobora images from Washington, this is certainly P. borealis.

Or P. borealis?
Narrow suture connecting discal to suture spot, small lateral median spot, in Washington - could be Psyllobora borealis.

Psyllobora vigintimaculata
One of the tiny lady beetles, Psyllobora vigintimaculata.

Thanks
Thank you Stephen. :o) I have frassed the image due to its poor quality and made note of the species on my computer. Sadly, capturing images of such tiny creatures is a real challenge.

Moving it back to guide
I moved it back to the guide since we have few pictures of this beetle, and its much much better than my own pic
