Carmenta ithacae
I could be wrong, but my first impression was C. ithacae.

Jason - based on the extensive white area on the antennae of both sexes and other subtle patterns of the abdomen and head, I think the species figured is Synanthedon pyri.

Synanthedon pyri!
I wondered if you ever got on bugguide. Its been a long time since I left this comment. I see now that the male in the picture doesn't match the characteristics for Carmenta ithacae. Thanks for setting me straight:)
