Ground Cricket?
Was this a relatively small insect, maybe a centimeter long or thereabouts? If so, I'd guess this is a long-winged variant of one of the ground crickets, a male, I think, by the look of the wings. Maybe one of the even-spurred or minute species...if minute, the males are supposed to be less than 9 mm long. The most common even-spurred species it might be is the Carolina ground cricket or Eunemobius carolinus...their pigmentation has a similar rather translucent look, especially noticeable on the thighs of the hind legs, but then, other species may have the same exact feature--can't find too many pictures of these little guys, alas. Here's a link to the page on them at the Singing Insects site...see what you think...

(Of course, if this was a big cricket, forget everything I just wrote above!)
