Moved
Moved from Bumble Bees.

Bombus flavifrons, not sitkensis
sitkensis should have more black on the scutum and lacks the ferruginous pile on T3. If it were sitkensis, pale hairs at the abdominal apex should be visible

Bombus sitkensis?
Maybe.

Bombus flavirons?
I do not know. And I never got a good shot of the rear of this specimens abdomen so I may never know. I found a nearly local link that says I lack the photo to distinguish them. Olympia is 90 miles away, but then, Vancouver BC is about the same.

thanks,

Sean
