This dragonfly was on it's last leg when I spotted it. Notice that three of it's legs are under the body. It was alive at the time of the photo.

It is similar to a few of the Sympetrum semicinctum found on bugguide.net. I'm not sure though.

 
Band-winged Meadowhawk (Sympetrum semicinctum)
This is our only Meadowhawk with those brown bands on the first section of the wings. Most of the other Meadowhawks all hard to tell apart.
