Bob -- Your suggestion about misting has worked like a charm. I may have used a bit too much syrup since the area where I photograph started to smell like a strawberry sundae after a while. This wasp has really unusual antennae.

This month is turning out to
This month is turning out to be very good for finding these wasps. Missed a couple today which were too skittish but that gives me an excuse to return to the area where I saw them.
