longhorn - Parelaphidion aspersum - female

longhorn - Parelaphidion aspersum - Female
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
July 26, 2006
Size: about 15.5 mm
Came to MV light on hot, humid night. Glabrous (smooth) areas on pronotum are diagnostic for this species, which is otherwise similar to several other species. I'm calling this a female based on antennal length, which in the male is distinctly longer than body. ID from images and description in Yanega's book.
