Size: about 2 inches
Caterpillar ate tulip poplar leaves and was 2 inches long when it pupated. It emerged from its cocoon after 4 weeks

Dates
Please, fix the dates. If this is the same specimen as the adult the dates are not right. This problem happens when you add an image of the same individual, especially if you are not familiar with Bugguide. The system, automatically copies the date and you have to remember to change it manually.

Cocoon?
You may want to include an image of the cocoon if you have one. It makes the life series nicer and more complete :)
