Flame Skimmer
This is a Flame Skimmer (Libellula saturata). If you are interested in learning more a guide to Odonata of Oregon came out a few years ago, It is Dragonflies and Damselflies of the Willamette Valley, Oregon: A Beginners Guide by Steve Grdon and Carey Kerst. There is alos a website which can be found by searching for OREGON DRAGONFLY AND DAMSELFLY SURVEY. Good luck and have fun.
