Wow! That was fast! Thanks for the ID! I figured it might be an owlet moth & I looked through so many pages, my eyes were getting crossed. I feel a certain satisfaction IDing an insect myself but really appreciate help when I can't.

Something I've not heard others mention is the line of metallic gold bordering the dark patches on the wing. Any reason why? Not all show the metallic gleam or what?
