Least Skipper
On the left is the upperside of the forewing, described here as "mostly dark brown, except for a little orange near the costa". On the right, the hindwing (completely pale beneath) is being held tightly against the underside of the forewing, hiding all but the top edge of the large black area on the underside of the forewing. See the photo on the right here.

Looks like a skipper of some sort. It seems rather nondescript and so may not be easy to identify. I'm sometimes surprised though so let's see what people come up with. Do you have any other viewpoints?
