Looks something like the Umber Skippers in the guide, but not in the correct location for that.
Any ideas on this one?

Could be a clouded skipper,
I'm going by the three white spots in a row on the forewing and generally dark chocolate-brown color.

I think you're right...
although the clouded skippers in the guide seem to vary in appearance quite a bit. I have a third picture, although it's slightly blurry, that may help a bit. I'll add it.
