Unknown black wasp - Urocerus cressoni

Unknown black wasp - Urocerus cressoni
Dedham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, USA
July 14, 2012
Size: about 1 inch long
Found this wasp on the trunk of a tree in the Dedham Town Forest during the Dedham BioBlitz. I cannot figure out even what family it is in. I lightened the photo so you could see the odd hairiness at the thorax. Thought the antennae would help but I can't even find one wasp where the antenna are black with orange tips.

Siricidae
ok for Urocerus cressoni Norton

Wow...
The similarity in the background and position of the insect in that shot is freaky. Thanks both of you!
