Grape Leaffolder - Desmia maculalis? - Desmia
Mathews County, Virginia, USA
July 31, 2006
Size: ~ 1 inch
I found this on a curtain and think it may be a Grape Leaffolder, Desmia maculalis. Can someone confirm? It was gently caught and released outside. Thank you.

Moved
Moved from Moths.

Appears to be D. funeralis -- very similar to D. maculalis except larger and the hindwing spots are much larger.
