Subimago Mayfly - SK - Hexagenia - Female
Mayfair/ Caswell Hill, Saskatoon and Area, Saskatchewan, Canada
July 24, 2012
This picture was taken by me just a few hours before the adult mayfly molted and emerged. The house is not directly next to a nearby water source but the South Saskatchewan River is about a 20 minute walk away, or a 5 minute drive. I do not know if it is male or female.
