While frantically photographing hoppers between rain storms, I got this Photo and now I'm not sure if it was even alive. Thought the experts might enjoy this one . Is that a fungus of sorts ? Paul

You might want to post it to this thread:

DRAFT: Arthropod Pathogenic Fungi

It's a collection here at BugGuide of fungus infected arthropods.

.

Fungi site
Tried to move it to the True Bug Fungi site , but couldn't figure out how to untag it. Paul

Just make a post in the comments section on that page with a link back to this page, if it is determined to be infected with a fungus an admin will add the image to the page.

You can also add a thumbnail image to your comment there by using [*thumb*:*680410*] in your comment (you'll have to remove the *'s).

OK, I posted a comment with a link to the photo. Thanks, Paul

Best I can tell...
It is a fungus(?)-covered beetle, looks like a weevil under there.

Thanks
Go ahead and delete it if you want unless you think somebody else might want to comment. Paul

It'd be cool if you could upload this to Mushroom observer, especially if you saved it. :)
