Found under the bark of a long-dead felled tree next to the swamp.

historically, the lissomine click beetles were placed in Throscidae. So, depending on your reference they may not key to Elateridae (they probably would in American Beetles--it's been so long since I've used a family key I dont know).

Yes, and that's what's so wonderful about BG. If I have a rough idea of the family, browsing through the photos, genus by genus is usually fruitful. Thanks much! I have three small drawers of Elateridae, so I'm certainly not disappointed. Genus and species is always a bonus.
