Unknown large flying insect - Neotibicen lyricen

Size: 1.5 in., body
This large flying insect appeared dead on my porch. I don't believe it's a June bug, but I have really never seen one like this.

Lyric cicada (Tibicen lyricen ssp. lyricen f. lyricen)
These are common across much of the eastern US & across parts of Mass.

I suggest you go to masscic.org for details regarding this species in your state.
