Nancy's photo
clinched it, particularly seeing a peek of dorsal HW. I wanted to be sure, because one bad ID just gets duplicated. To that end, I found some suspect ID's in this genus, in addition to the one of mine. I probably should go through them when I get some more time :)

Gray Hairstreak?
For what it's worth, we think this is a Gray Hairstreak The angle is such that you are seeing the dorsal of the left hindwing and the ventral of the right hindwing.

- I do not recognize this hairstreak. It looks sorta like one of the Tailed Blues, just missing a bunch of spots :(
