Scoliid Wasp? - Dielis dorsata - female

Scoliid Wasp? - Dielis dorsata - Female
Miramar, Broward County, Florida, USA
December 6, 2011
Size: ~20mm
Black with red on first couple of abdomen segments, Ill try to find a better shot. I cant find this under University of Florida's Scoliid species key. Looks like scoliid family maybe typhii?

Campsomeris dorsata, female
Nice find! This species is primarily Neotropical and can be found in southern Florida.

Moved from ID Request.

Specimin
I have a female specimen if you need it.

Thanks
I was surprised they are one of the more common wasps here but they arent found in any guides or keys for the area. For a long time Ive been trying to identify it. Thanks! I have more photographs also if the guide needs including a focus stack.

Just found one in
Broward, suprised by its somewhat slow flight. http://bugguide.net/node/view/884055
