Double-lined Brown Moth - Hodges #8488 - Hormoschista latipalpis
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
August 11, 2012
Size: 10-12mm
I don't recognize this very distinctive owlet; with a solid, undulating ST. dark reniform spot on the PM, white spots on AM & PM and dark basal spots. Looks something in the neighborhood of a Renia or a Zanclognatha. However, there are no notches on antennae. What matches this description?
