1st dark band on elytra not tricuspidate,
but with rather straight posteriour edge.

tibia ridge
Mike, could you please describe the ridge(s) on the tibia of this one? From the image, it looks like it might have only one, very long ridge extending all the way across the face. This would be a bit unusual for M. trifasciata. The elytra markings about the base also appear a bit atypical. Not saying it's not M. trifasciata. Just curious.

I vote 'no', based on the pronotal darkening toward the apical margin, characteristic of trifasciata, vs. bicinctella's basal darkening.
