Catocala Briseis? - SK - Catocala meskei

Catocala Briseis? - SK - Catocala meskei
Downtown at the Farmer's Market, Saskatoon and Area, Saskatchewan, Canada
August 11, 2012
I only got the one picture with wings folded and at rest but I know it is an underwing with red/orange wings because I saw it in flight. I think it is a Catocala Briseis from comparing this photo to the pictures I've seen online. It the closest in my searching but I haven't seen a picture match mine exactly. Help or corrects would be appreciated, thank you in advance!

Moved from Underwings.

It's actually a variation of meskei. You can view a series here that shows the variations of this species.
