caterpillar - Callosamia angulifera

Not sure what instar this is (second or third?) because I've never seen a picture of one other than the final appearance. My dad found this crawling on a log, and I made the ID based on its similarity to a promethea caterpillar. Currently feeding on tulip-tree leaves!
